Some of the most exciting projects we have worked on include party gear such as cups, plates, flags, bags and invites. We did a complete range of Cartoon Network’s Ben 10 brand which we thoroughly enjoyed. We have also done licensed products for travel gear including reversible plush toy & pillows, sunscreens, seat belt cushions and loads more.
These projects can be achieved in 3 easy steps:
We sit down with our client and discuss the specifications of a job – measurements, cutter guide etc. We also strongly advise, our clients sit down with the licensor and discuss the ‘look’ of the product as well. Once we have this all down and everyone knows what is required, we’re ready to proceed to the next step.
We will require a cutter guide from our client’s chosen printer. We can create cutter guides, but in our experience that is a risky way to work because not all printers and factories will be able to work to those guidelines, so it is advised that the client gets a fully approved cutter guide from the printer prior to work starting.
We go away and start designing. We go back and forth until the client is 100% happy.
With licensed products, it is a contract requirement that the licensor approves anything before proceeding to print. So any amends from the licensor need to be taken in to account here as well.
So now the client is happy, the licensor has signed off the approval, we’re now ready to send you the print-ready files.
We supply our printer-ready files in various different formats. Some clients prefer printer ready PDFs, others prefer Illustrator files.
Our client will also receive the entire editable working files for their archives.
