Technical hurdle
The previous agency managing Mary Jane Fashion’s website was very slow at getting things done. They didn’t have the expertise to perform the needs of Mary Jane Fashion’s expectations.
Mary Jane Fashion desperately wanted to move into the mobile phone arena, with their website not being mobile friendly.
Besides this, Mary Jane Fashion wanted to expand their business and branch out into the wholesale market. This required new wholesale functionality, with an improved shopping experience and usability.
Solution
Transformed into a fully responsive website
Transformed the user experience; tailored from the bottom up, we created a mobile-first responsive theme. This resulted in a fast, beautiful and responsive website, working seamlessly across all devices and screen sizes.
Beyond this, we introduced a host of wholesale functionality that allowed wholesale businesses to register as customers on the website and provided bulk buying features, including the ability to set up complex VAT rules.
Magento code makeover and newly coded modules were done following Magento coding best practices, making sure the new Mary Jane Fashion website is stable, fast, scalable and secure running on R & W Media’s enterprise-level hosting platform.

Since the launch of the new, responsive website, Mary Jane Fashion’s revenue has increased to a staggering 212.31% and order values have increased to 611.48%; what started as an update/upgrade has become a massive positive change. We have seen an increased engagement with mobile and tablet customers as well as a decrease in bounce rate.
With the Mary Jane Fashion website hosted on our lightning fast hosting platform, we have seen improved load time and higher conversion rate overall.
